With this CopperCube 3d game engine editor extension you can easily create,  design & animate many types of fake volumetric billboard fog, mist & clouds. 

The extension comes with a mandatory set of fog cloud asset/prefab, the designer plugin to customize the asset/prefab in the editor, a special behavior for animation &  appearance control at runtime plus 20 unique fog textures in over hundred color & opacity variations.

Fully Customizable Fog/Mist/Clouds (DirectX & OpenGL compatible):

- increase/decrease fog/mist/clouds density

- change material texture plus vary/randomize texture

- proportional scale plus separate fog/mist/clouds height & width scaling

- drop fog/mist/clouds to ground (select fog control folder/parent node to easily drop all fog children elements to surface)

- fog/mist/clouds X/Z-Position/Y-Position/Scale Randomization for more natural look

- 20 unique fog/mist/clouds textures in over hundred color & opacity variations

- use included (or your own)  <trans_alphach> Material textures in a huge colorful variety with different opacity levels

- use included (or your own) <trans_add> Material textures to give a black/white/grey monochrome merged look with different opacity levels looking nice with clouds

- animate fog/mist/clouds by y-axis-rotation, horizontal & vertical orbit rotation plus scaling with customizable wait time

Extra GLSL-shader features available with OpenGL 3d video driver:

- glsl set color (without the need for changing color textures)

- glsl color randomize animation

- glsl set alpha (without the need for changing textures' opacity variants)

- glsl alpha randomize animation

- glsl set brightness
