CopperCube Do At Raycast Hit
A downloadable CopperCube extension
ALL HADOKEN RECORDS COPPERCUBE EXTENSIONS:
https://hadoken-records.itch.io/
This CopperCube 3d game engine extension lets you execute commands at custom raycast hit detection results (true or false) within your CopperCube game projects.
The extension can be used as behavior (permanently checking for raycast results) or as action checking at custom events like time intervals, key presses, variable's statuses, etc. - both action & behavior are included.
Features:
- send raycasts (CopperCube API collision lines) from any scene object/position to any other object/position without coding
- use scene nodes directly to define raycast start and end positions or helper nodes parented to scene nodes
- change raycast scene node's positions in CopperCube editor or even at runtime to easily change raycast lengths & directions (also at runtime)
- helper nodes can be hidden in project runtime mode.
- lots of distance, custom collision or object presence checking sensor setups can easily be accomplished e.g try something like a photoelectric sensor :-)
- by using the action/behavior with more than one instance multiple raycast are possible
Please check the two different provided demo scenes (one for behavior use / one for action use) to see how both extensions work.
Installation:
Unzip and put both extension files "action_HadokenDoAtRaycastHit" and "behavior_HadokenDoAtRaycastHit" into your CopperCube extensions folder & restart CopperCube to make them available.
